It's becoming more and more common that Users are accessing your website from a mobile web browser (like that from an IPhone, Blackberry, Android or other mobile device). It's also becoming more prevelant that you need to start supporting and developing for the mobile platforms. But how would you begin?

This tutorial will help you out.

You'd need to start by being able to detect that the user is coming from a mobile browser and redirecting them to a mobile Friendly copy of your website (See My Articles :: Designing Websites for mobile phones or Mobile Websites for the Real World ). There are several methods for detecting a mobile browser, and I've included a coldfusion version that will do just that.
